Battery Description

Small Size, High Energy Density: Wattcycle 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery​ dimension with L195 x W130 x H170mm and weight of 5.20kg has 640W output power and 640Wh energy storage. Its energy density is 123.08Wh/kg, while that of 12V 50Ah lead-acid batteries is 24Wh/kg.

EV Grade-A LiFePO4 Cells: WattCycle deep cycle batteries is equipped with EV grade-A cells, which provide more than 5000+ cycle life and a lifespan of 10 years. Compared with lead-acid batteries, WattCycle batteries are non-toxic and eco-friendly, offer higher chemical stability, and guarantee quality and safety.

Safer 50A BMS: Wattcycle 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery mit 50A BMS provides max. 50A continuous charge and discharge current, and multi-protection, such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, over-discharge protection, short-circuit protection, overcharge protection, and extreme temperature protection (high and low temperature).

Series & Parallel Connection: WattCycle 12V deep cycle LiFePO4 batteries support max. 4 in series and max. 4 in parallel. 50Ah lithium batteries can build a 48V 200Ah battery system, providing continuous charge- and discharge current 200A, massive 10.24kWh energy and 10.24kW output power.

Warranty Policy

At WattCycle, we stand behind the quality and performance of our batteries. We offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase.

Please read the product manual carefully before installing and using the product, and use the battery correctly under the instructions of the manual.

Warranty Period

WattCycle warrants that the product will be free from defects in workmanship and material to the original consumer purchaser.
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

1. For the battery >50Ah, the warranty period is 5+2 years. (Extra 2-year warranty service is only for official website customers.)

2. For the battery ≤50Ah, the warranty period is 3 years.

3. For the battery charger, the warranty period is 2 years.

4. For other accessories, the warranty period is 1 year.

Warranty Statement

Any defects in material or workmanship of your product will be covered after you provide any valid proof of purchase and information including but not limited to the following:

1. A purchased order number was made through WattCycle's official stores.

2. Sales invoice or order confirmation email that clearly shows the description of the product, its price, and sales channel.

Note: The limited warranty is restricted to the country of purchase. The warranty on the items will be invalid once they are taken or shipped to other countries.

Exclusions of Warranty

1. Misused, abused, damaged by accident, or damaged due to force majeure. (e.g. lightning strikes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.);

2. Unauthorized modification, repair, dis-assembly or operation not in accordance with the official instructions or manuals;

3. Lost, stolen, or fully refunded product;

4. The warranty period expired;

5. The battery model on the warranty certificate does not match the actual item;

6. Product wear and tear through the usage of time.

Procedures for Warranty Claims

We’ll assist in analyzing the consumer’s problem within 24 hours, help solve the problem, restore battery usage, and introduce the optimal use method.

If our product fails to work normally, the consumer assists us in completing all the battery testing, and both parties confirm that the product does have quality problems, we’ll send a new battery replacement to the defective battery after it has been returned to our US warehouse by the pre-paid label we prepared. The defective battery will be checked and tested by our technical team to analyze the problem.

From the date of purchase and within 6 months, if our products have quality problems and cannot work normally, we can provide replacement or refund services; Within 7 months from the date of purchase to the end of the warranty, if our products have quality problems and cannot work normally, we can provide replacement services.

Any product(s) returned for valid warranty service will be shipped at the expense and risk of us. We will provide a pre-paid label to customers who need to return the products to the designated place at the specified time.

Batteries that have been serviced or replaced under their warranty period do not receive extended warranties. Instead, the serviced/replaced battery(-ies) will abide by the original warranty period issued when first purchased.

We reserve the right to modify this Warranty Policy at any time. We will post any changes to this policy on our website.

The battery should be installed in a clean, cool, and dry location, away from water, oil, and dirt.

Q5: What tools will I use for the installation?

1) Proper insulation protection equipment

Q6: What preparations, tools, and precautions are necessary for installation?

A6:
Before Installation:
1) Check for visible damage to the battery, including cracks, dents, deformation, and other visible abnormalities.
2) Ensure that the top of the battery and the terminal connections are clean, free of dirt and corrosion, and dry. If any issues are detected with the battery, please contact us for assistance.
3) Do not short-circuit the battery terminals, as doing so may cause a current surge and result in irreversible damage to the system and battery.
4) Before connecting, confirm the polarity to avoid damaging the battery due to polarity reversal.
5) Use a circuit breaker, fuse, or an appropriate-sized circuit breaker designated by a qualified electrician, licensed installer, or regulatory authority to protect all electrical equipment.

Installation Steps:
Step 1: Fully charge the batteries separately.
Step 2: Test the voltage after 15 minutes of standing, which should be greater than 13V.
Step 3: Connect your batteries in series and/or parallel.

Q7: Can I connect the battery with other batteries from other brands?

A7:
No, you cannot.
When connecting batteries in series and parallel, please follow the following rules.


1) Same brand (Due to different BMS settings, do not connect lithium batteries of other brands)
2) Same battery type (LiFePO4) (Do not connect batteries of other types, such as lithium-ion, lead-acid, or other batteries)
3) Same voltage (recommended for fully charged batteries) (12.8V)
4) Same capacity (50Ah)
5) The purchase cycle of the two batteries should not exceed three months.

Q8: What precautions should be taken when using lithium batteries?

A8:
Use a LiFePO4 battery charger with a maximum charging voltage/current of 14.6±0.2V/50A.
The battery is classified as a flammable and explosive item. Please use it with caution.

Avoid mechanical impact/No short-circuit/No crush/No disassemble/No incinerate/No heat above 150°F/No harge above 15V/No immerse the battery in water or fire/No use batteries from other brands or different types of batteries in series/parallel (due to different BMS settings)/No reverse the battery and charger

Keep the battery away from fire, hazardous substances, or materials.

Q9: What should be considered when charging?

A9:
Check if the AC-DC battery charger you are using has a specific lithium charging setting and ensure the following charging requirements are met.
Many battery chargers are designed for lead-acid batteries and may not have suitable settings for lithium batteries.

Charging Tips:
1) Use a 14.6V LiFePO4 battery charger.
2) Recommended charging voltage: 14.4 ~ 14.8V
3) Recommended charging current:
20A - The battery will be fully charged to 100% capacity in approximately 2.5 hours.
50A - The battery will be fully charged to 100% capacity in approximately 1 hour.

Q10: How should batteries be stored?

A10:
We recommend charging the Wattcycle Energy battery to 50%. Then, disconnect the battery from the load by removing the negative wire from one battery.
Overall, the battery's capacity loss is less than 3.5% per month at 77°F. However, if stored in extreme environmental conditions, the capacity loss may increase.
