However, they tend to be heavier and have a shorter lifespan compared to lithium batteries. With a limited depth of discharge (DOD) of around 50%, AGM batteries require more frequent charging, reducing their overall efficiency over time.

Their significant advantages are that they are lightweight, long-lasting, and can be discharged up to 90% or more without any negative impact.
