Battery Description

Portable Battery Design: WattCycle 12V 8Ah LiFePO4 battery is smaller (L152 x W66 x H96mm) and lighter (0.95kg) than a traditional 12V 8Ah lead-acid battery (AGM battery). Its energy density reaches 107.79Wh/kg, while the 12V 8Ah lead-acid battery (AGM battery) achieves only 22.02Wh/kg.

EV-Grade A+ LiFePO4 Cells: WattCycle 12V 8Ah LiFePO4 battery is equipped with high-quality EV-grade A+ cells, guaranteeing a lifespan of over 5000+ cycles and up to 10 years. The LiFePO4 cells make the lithium battery more compact, which can enhance the working efficiency of the battery cell and ensure that there will not be any accidental situation such as power outage in the process of using.

Comprehensive BMS Protection: WattCycle 12V 8Ah LiFePO4 battery features an 8A battery management system (BMS) that provides protection against over-voltage, over-current, deep discharge, short circuits, overcharging, and extreme temperatures (high/low). It also enables cell balancing.

IP67 Dust & Water Resistant: WattCycle 12V deep cycle LiFePO4 batteries are designed with a compact case that is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. The high impact resistance battery case is made of non-conductive ABS plastic, which has strong resistance to impact, shock, chemicals, and heat. The insulating material ensures that there is no leakage of electricity during use. It can be used normally, even on rainy days, but you need to be careful that the positive and negative poles do not get wet.

Up to 1638.4Wh Energy Solution: WattCycle 12V deep cycle LiFePO4 batteries support up to 4 in series and 4 in parallel configurations. Using the 16 WattCycle 12V 8Ah LiFePO4 batteries, a 48V 32Ah battery system can be built, delivering a continuous charge/discharge current of 32A, massive energy storage of 1638.4Wh, and an output power of 1638.4W.

Safer & More Environmentally Friendly: Compared with traditional lead-acid batteries, WattCycle 12V 8Ah small capacity battery is made of the latest lithium-ion technology. The battery doesn't contain any heavy metal elements; it's safer and more environmentally friendly.

Warranty Policy

At WattCycle, we stand behind the quality and performance of our batteries. We offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase.

Please read the product manual carefully before installing and using the product, and use the battery correctly under the instructions of the manual.

Warranty Period

WattCycle warrants that the product will be free from defects in workmanship and material to the original consumer purchaser.
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

1. For the battery >50Ah, the warranty period is 5+2 years. (Extra 2-year warranty service is only for official website customers.)

2. For the battery ≤50Ah, the warranty period is 3 years.

3. For the battery charger, the warranty period is 2 years.

4. For other accessories, the warranty period is 1 year.

Warranty Statement

Any defects in material or workmanship of your product will be covered after you provide any valid proof of purchase and information including but not limited to the following:

1. A purchased order number was made through WattCycle's official stores.

2. Sales invoice or order confirmation email that clearly shows the description of the product, its price, and sales channel.

Note: The limited warranty is restricted to the country of purchase. The warranty on the items will be invalid once they are taken or shipped to other countries.

Exclusions of Warranty

1. Misused, abused, damaged by accident, or damaged due to force majeure. (e.g. lightning strikes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.);

2. Unauthorized modification, repair, dis-assembly or operation not in accordance with the official instructions or manuals;

3. Lost, stolen, or fully refunded product;

4. The warranty period expired;

5. The battery model on the warranty certificate does not match the actual item;

6. Product wear and tear through the usage of time.

Procedures for Warranty Claims

We’ll assist in analyzing the consumer’s problem within 24 hours, help solve the problem, restore battery usage, and introduce the optimal use method.

If our product fails to work normally, the consumer assists us in completing all the battery testing, and both parties confirm that the product does have quality problems, we’ll send a new battery replacement to the defective battery after it has been returned to our US warehouse by the pre-paid label we prepared. The defective battery will be checked and tested by our technical team to analyze the problem.

From the date of purchase and within 6 months, if our products have quality problems and cannot work normally, we can provide replacement or refund services; Within 7 months from the date of purchase to the end of the warranty, if our products have quality problems and cannot work normally, we can provide replacement services.

Any product(s) returned for valid warranty service will be shipped at the expense and risk of us. We will provide a pre-paid label to customers who need to return the products to the designated place at the specified time.

Batteries that have been serviced or replaced under their warranty period do not receive extended warranties. Instead, the serviced/replaced battery(-ies) will abide by the original warranty period issued when first purchased.

We reserve the right to modify this Warranty Policy at any time. We will post any changes to this policy on our website.

Q1: Do I need to charge it when I receive it?

A1:
The default of the new factory battery is [ sleep state ],the first 3 times need to befully charged,discharged and then fully charged,and then discharged ... to fully activate the battery capacity.

Q2: How can l charge it?

A2:
1) Please keep the battery pack 30%-60% of the power storage, and charge the battery once every 3 months.

2) Please select the LiFePO4 charger with a rated voltage of 14.6V according to the parameters specified on the battery nameplate to charge the battery.

Q3: What is the recommended fully charge voltage and current?

A3:
The recommended fully charge voltage is 14.2-14.6V. And the current is under 12A.

Q4: What are the precautions when I use the battery?

A4:
The battery is classified as a flammable and explosive item. Please use it with caution.
When you are using it, no short circuit, no crush, no disassemble or no incinerate.
And please avoid the mechanical impact.

Q5: What is prohibited when l am using the battery?

A5:
1) It is forbidden to make the positive and negative poles of the battery pack shortcircuit.
2) It is forbidden to charge in the summer sun exposure or high temperature.
3) Prohibit the battery pack from touching any liquid,avoid rain/moisture.
4) Prohibit the dismantling and modification of the battery configuration.
5) Prohibit flammable and explosive,high temperature,high humidity,sun exposure.

Q6: What is the Installation of the battery?

A6:
Before installation and use, please check the relevant waterproof, shockproof, short circuit prevention, puncture prevention, heat prevention, and prevent the plug and socket from touching the bad ignition and damage the battery.


LiFePO4 batteries are used in parallel: Because the battery is not fully charged before it leaves the factory, please fully charge the battery before parallel installation, and test the voltage of each battery. It is recommended to keep the voltage difference of each battery within 30mv in order to extend the battery life.


LiFePO4 batteries are used in series: the lithium battery maximum series is 4*12V=48V,for the sake of balance.
Before the series, batteries need to be charged firstly, and place the 4 groups of batteries in parallel for more than 12H.Before use:
If you find that there is battery deformation or damage, smelly, smoke or abnormal heat, swelling, water ingress and other abnormal conditions ,please do not use, contact the dealer in time to deal with it.
Q7: Can the Wattcycle battery support the series or/and parallel connections?

A7: Yes!
WattCycle LiFePO4 Battery can support series or/and parallel connections, with a maximum configuration of 4S4P.

By combining series and parallel connections, you can achieve the desired voltage and capacity.
For example, four 3.2V 8Ah batteries connected in series form 12.8V, and then connecting two such series strings in parallel results in a system with 12.8V 32Ah.

By combining series and parallel connections, you can design battery packs that meet specific application requirements, providing greater flexibility and scalability.

Q8: How can I increase the voltage?

A8:
Series connection increases the voltage to meet the voltage requirements of the device or system.

Series Connection:
Connecting the positive terminal of one battery to the negative terminal of another battery to increase the voltage.
The voltages of each battery are added together, while the capacity (ampere-hours, Ah) remains the same.

For example, connecting four 3.2V batteries in series results in a total voltage of 12.8V.

Q9: How can I increase the capacity?

A9:
Parallel connection increases the capacity to extend the runtime and enhance the overall current supply capability.

Parallel Connection:
Connecting the positive terminals together and the negative terminals together to increase the capacity (Ah).
The capacities of each battery are added together, while the voltage remains the same.

For example, connecting two 3.2V 8Ah batteries in parallel results in a total capacity of 3.2V 16Ah.

Q10: What are the necessary steps for the connection?

A10:
There are two steps necessary in order to reduce the voltage difference between batteries, and through these, the battery system can perform the best of it in series or/and in parallel.

Step1: Fully charge your batteries.
Step2: Connect your batteries one by one in parallel, and leave them together fro 12-24hrs.

And then, you can connect your batteries in series or/and parallel.
